Mas Irrigation, Mas Salares, Mas Flamingos and More San Pedro

Yet another day of Salares and Flamingos. We headed south past the small town of Scoaire, which is surrounded by pre-Colonial terrace farming.

The town water supply is fed by a beautiful stream which flows from the flank of Cerro Lejia.

Needless to day, Dan spent some time checking out the irrigation system.

Kate has been fighting a bit of a head cold, but that didn't stop her from finessing her skills on a standard transmission (rental) truck.

Kate's slightly sick quote of the day "I like sneezing because it makes you feel better for a little while, just like throwing up."

We made a brief stop at Laguna Miscanti and Laguna Miniques, Kate said, let's stop at the smaller one first, I'm sure it has flamingos!
